About Kelly

My Story

I’m Kelly Haddock, and I own and operate Highpoint Physical Therapy. I graduated with honors from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training in 1999, and a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2002. I furthered my studies by completing certifications in manual physical therapy in 2006 and spinal manipulation in 2007 from the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). In 2010, I completed my Level 2 dry needling certification. With over 21 years of experience in orthopedics, I have honed a deep understanding of musculoskeletal conditions and treatments, making me a highly skilled and trusted practitioner in delivering effective care. When I’m not in the clinic, you can find me at the local climbing areas, hiking in the backcountry or spending as much time as possible with animals, especially my dogs.

I recognize the physical and emotional challenges you may be facing and strive to provide a supportive and nurturing environment. What Past Patients Have Said

“I’ve been seeing Kelly for over 10 years now. Before I saw her I was at a point where I spent half the day laying down to ease my neck pain after I had stupidly hit my head pulling the hatch of my car down. I tried several other therapists with no success before I saw her. She literally gave me my life back. She is the most professional, gifted and emphatic person I know, not to mention super sweet. I can’t imagine seeing anyone else!”

~ Jutta

“Those mighty hands have the healing touch ! Kelly does like a challenge. We have been “challenging” her since 2011.She has kept us from having unwanted surgeries or at least delayed the need using traditional as well as occasional creative methods. After surgery she challenged us to make full mobility as our goal. Recognizing when we  did our homework and encouraging us when we didn’t. During our appointment times she was sensitive to our bodies needs and always extremely professional! We know we are given the opportunity to achieve the greatest outcome anytime we need PT.  All of it done with a charming smile and positive attitude.”

~ Ben and Julie Fallin

“Kelly Haddock is an exceptional PT. The care she has given me over the last couple of years for several injuries has been a life saver and has definitely been integral to my quality of life. Kelly is competent and compassionate and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone who needs a skilled PT or seek her care again.”

~ Wendi Knutsen

“Kelly has been administering her magic on me for a little over 4 years now, and I am so grateful to have found her! Initially, I had gone to my family doctor who gave me an injection to relieve a severe muscle spasm, and a prescription for pain. Several days later still writhing in pain, barely able to get out of bed, walk or use the bathroom, this time the family doctor suggested I see Kelly. Kelly performed hands on therapy and suggested dry needling to ease my pain.  At this point I was willing to try anything!  After one application of dry needling, the pain released enough that I could  walk up the stairs and sit in a chair without crying!  I continue working with Kelly, she uses different techniques of  hands on therapy, exercises, and my go-to dry needling to keep me pain free. Through ex-rays, I did find out that my labrum(cartilage/hip area)  is being shredded and  I have arthritis in my lower back. I’m on the young side for a hip replacement, so I have opted to work with Kelly to keep me pain free and it’s working!!  So much so, that I don’t get to see Kelly very often anymore , only need to see her occasionally if the ole hip flares up on me. She has a wealth of knowledge and a fantastic sense of humor, she’s absolutely the best!”

~ Kelly S.

“I was fortunate my doctor referred me to Kelly for physical therapy.   She is extremely skilled and knowledgeable when it comes pain relief.  She is good about explaining what is going on and what needs to be done.   I was terrified of dry needling but boy does it work.  It’s nothing like getting a shot!  I highly recommend Kelly if you are experiencing any kind of body pain or recovering from surgery.”

~ Lori O.

“Kelly Haddock has been my “go-to” physical therapist for over 5 years.  I have seen her for various issues including muscle imbalances from rock climbing, joint issues after breaking both wrists, and preserving the life of my 10 year old partial knee replacement.  Kelly is gifted at understanding the interaction between nerves, muscles, and joints.  After listening to me, she performs a thorough exam and then works with me using manipulation, dry needling, and exercises.  In all of this, Kelly keeps my goals in mind, whether it is getting back to rock climbing or better flexion and extension in an old knee replacement.  I recommend Kelly to all of my friends!”

~Sherry C.

“Kelly is a kick-ass therapist who has saved my damn life. I sought out a manual physical therapist during a long episode of repeated migraines. I had the good fortune to meet Kelly who applied an innovative, cutting edge approach to my care.  She is knowledgeable, patient focused, professional and highly effective.”

~Linda S.

“Kelly was recommended to me over 12 years ago by two friends. Since then, she has kept me moving, flexible, and comfortable throughout my numerous osteo arthritic issues. I have recommended her to my family and lots of friends, and she has been of enormous help as we all go through the travails of the aging process. Kelly is always caring, professional, and absolutely determined to use her PT skills to create a positive outcome for all of her patients.”

~ Barbara C.

“Kelly has been my Physical Therapist for a couple of years now.  She saved my left shoulder from surgery.  I had a torn rotator cuff and now have no pain at all.  I still go once a month for maintenance, and she mostly works on my right shoulder which is still tight from the surgery I had 14 years ago.  She also takes care of anything else that is bothering me.  I love her attention to detail and ability to manually adjust me so that I stay in the best shape I can.  At 64 years old there is always something that is out of sorts!

My husband and daughter and many friends of mine also see Kelly and love her as much as I do. She is personable and very skilled at her craft – I can’t say enough good things about her.”

~ Katherine Speas

“Kelly is amazing! She has helped me with hip pain and neck pain.  After years of chronic neck pain, I feel like a new person.  I was taking Ibuprofen 2-3 times a week for my neck and after working with Kelly, I hardly ever take it.  She is knowledgeable, caring, and professional.  I never knew that physical therapy could be such a game-changer.  I give Kelly 5 out of 5 stars!

~ Collen

“Kelly is an incredible therapist that works diligently to keep you in top shape. She’s helped me with shoulders, elbows and wrists over the years and I always come off the table feeling good as new!

~ Hayden

“Kelly at Highpoint Physical Therapy provided exceptional care during my recovery from a total knee operation. Her hands-on approach, combined with the use of needles, exercises, and positive reinforcement helped me achieve significant improvements in quadriceps strength. While the process was  exhausting at times, the importance of this approach to my  overall recovery cannot be overstated. I  highly recommend Kelly to anyone in need of dedicated and effective physical therapy following a knee operation.  As an aside, she has also helped me with plantar fasciitis pain in three visits…. It’s wonderful to be able to walk pain free again.   Thank you Kelly.

~ Margee

“You are probably asking yourself the wrong question, I did.  If one were to assume that all PT was very similar why would I consider a self-pay option?  Was I being an elitist or over indulgent?  Once I had not progressed with my Physical Therapy program that was recommended by my provider and under my insurance carrier, I gave Highpoint PT a chance.  My initial PT experience was focused on stretching and exercises with very limited hands on manual therapy.  An hour appointment with Kelly is a full hour of work.  I was amazed at her ability to identify my problem and go immediately after the cause with 100% commitment and empathy.  As a result, my problem resolved in a few visits.  The fault with my original question was my  assumption that, the PT “ product”  is universally similar.   As far as the cost was concerned, I actually paid less utilizing Highpoint PT than I did paying numerous co-pays.  The way the math works is that I got better…….. faster!
